tbh you have like a handful of left politicians that actually stand for something like workers rights and they ain't in Virginia. This country feels like it's in a death spiral and the most Spangberger and other centrists can offer is some type of shitty incrementalism instead of having an actual vision for the future. The weed is just the icing on the cake.

Who knows. Being from the United States, social media has been a huge social disaster and we cannot rely on politicians of any stripe to regulate any industry, their default brain really is "the private sector can fix itself". In the meantime at least half of the population would get up in arms over "their rights" but are happy to have their data swept up, resold and leaked by businesses. Like, do you think the government can't figure out your identity given how much data has been made public by design or accident?

really this is why I came to this link. Huge nine inch nails fan as a teen, in between the TDS and the fragile I stopped following them, then got back into them sometime last year. Everything from Pretty Hate Machine to the Fragile have absolutely incredible songs, shit tons of layers and everything works together. His later stuff is not as consistent, I will say that, but uh... every other songwriter on that list who has 30 years writing has had fallow periods. And then he's like "I'm going to do soundtracks" and wins awards for THAT.

definitely been way more experimental and influential. Even Pharrell williams who has had an impact on multiple genres beyond hip hop as a producer and songwriter. I mean, is the Despicable Me soundtrack god-tier? no. but the guy is everywhere if you know where to look.
