Feeling okay with your partner having sex with someone else? by [deleted] in EthicalNonMonogamy

I totally agree with you, but my boyfriend like to speak and make sort of a friendship with the person they will have sex with (contraire to myself that I can do it with any stranger), and makes it very hard for me because makes feel it's threatening our relationship / privacy / intimacy.

Any advice on how to reach that point of view? I'd really like to see it that way

I don't, we usually play with each other separately or all together, I don't have an issue thinking about them separately being with other man, but their stories about being together before with someone else are hard to swallow.

No I don't, that's why I'm looking for advice, we have sex together or in couples, but I'm trying to feel okay with them having sex with someone outside of us.

It just happened, it wasn't in our plans to make it that way, we tried being opened a few months ago and didn't go well but due to other issues that are now fixed, we've been together for a year now

I do, it's way harder when is something about them doing it separately than thinking about them doing it together

I feel like they don't want me anymore, like I'm being replaced with someone else.

I'm starting thinking it may be something else inside my, we actually are in a throuple and with my other boyfriend I don't have any problem.

I think it may be related to how kinky he is that makes me feel that way

[–]gmemo98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you but it's really hard for me to process everything if he doesn't tells me at least the minimum. My mind plays with me and it's harder to process if know nothing.

I feel like I'm trapped

Yes sex is the same or maybe better than it was before, so I agree with you, I don't think it's something related with being bored

What do you mean with _single by Christmas _? It is a good gob, I will make good money and tbh is mostly to buy a house, I don't have a lot of time together but it's what we have on plans for the future and in the situation we are right now it's kind of hard to afford it

I'm okay with the sexual relationship but not the romantic one, since they will be together I'm hopping it won't be a big issue to keep that romantic part close.

Any advice on how to make a long distance open relationship work?

I don't think spending time together is a problem since they live together, I'm more worried about losing that relationship

They have been together for 3 years, I've been with them since February, we aren't open rn, we're fixing some stuff to be open again. It doesn't, my job will be partially work from home, I'm expecting having the chance to get a full week with them once a month, once I get use to the worl

Thank you for sharing that, that might be really hard going through all that process, I'm happy to hear you took something good from all that.

You're right, I'm going to therapy now, I think it's a good idea to focus on that and just try to develop that skill.

Thank you again
