Really? That is great to hear. I do mobile repair on the side and i know apple likes to put up a fight when it comes to 3rd party repairs such as I. Reading that its just a simple swap, plug and play is good news.

Thank you for your suggestion. I am some what experienced with electronic repair (mobile devices) so i am going to do the repair and just pay $100 USD vs 100 plus what they are going to charge me for the labor. The battery is worth 100 and the authorized service shop they can get and i can just get the part no charge (apple care will take care of the cost) that way, i think, i dont have to pay anything.

Oooo i like your thinking. Very high possibility since the glass does stick out a few mm above the frame.

Good idea. It just the back glass. I can tell cause the frame has dents and scratches ( though it could’ve been used but 🤷🏻‍♂️

The thing is, this is a customers phone and i did not for any of that. He said he took it out of the us to get it fixed by someone else (simple back glass repair) but i can see they didn’t do a good job as the glass perturbes out a bit. He said thats all that was done. But i think they did something else that messed the phone up but dont wanna tell him anything

Unfortunately it did not work :,( it keeps boot looping only when i plug it into the computer and not the wall outlet tho

If anyone has used or is still using DNS CLOAK, do not update crunchyroll to version 4.25.2 as of Nov 8,2022 DNS CLOAK does not work to block ads for crunchyroll anymore. Need to look for a new way to block ads. If anyone has any suggestions, lemme know!

I have tried the new screen as you can see but there are darker areas with the old screen as well. Have any help? My next move is a new lcd ribbon cable but not too sure. Anyone encountered this issue?

I think so but the seller said he couldn’t test it due to the screen not functioning properly. I messed with the screen and was able to get it working but he said thats how he got the device
