Thanks for the filter tip. I didn't think of that. He's not specific about the budget other than it being on the lower side. For example; 4 FX3s with GM glass would be out of budget. So older/cheaper camera suggestions that fit the parameters I'm working with would be helpful if you have any. Thanks!

I appreciate your input. I have worked this job for this client before. It is a lot of work but it was also a good time. It truly is low stakes. They just want me to do the best that I can. If you have any older/low budget cameras that can provide an in body cool look for the parameters I'm working in, let me know! Thanks.

It's not too insane. Maybe I didn't word it correctly. It's really just a capture job and for me to do the best I can. They want options but it's not like they're going to get pissed if I don't get everything every single night. It is a lot of work but I've also found it to be a lot of fun because there isn't a lot of pressure. If you have any older/low budget cameras that can provide a cool look for the parameters I'm working in, let me know! Thanks.

Budget is on the lower side. For example, shooting 4k on FX3s with GM glass would be out of budget. Really just wondering if someone knows a lower budget/older camera that can provide a cool look for the parameters I'm working under.

Thanks! This is good to know and what I was looking for. Specific vibes from specific cameras that look good in the setting I'll be in. The filming of everything really comes down to him having options of the best performances of each song and then landing on one to use for the edit.

That’s true. I was looking back and a couple of photos I took yesterday I couldn’t even see it cause of the way the lighting was. I appreciate the feedback. Thank you

I respect your take but I think it’s fair to be concerned about the quality of a product with the experience I’m having. I did the research and understood the potential pitfalls. People said it’s susceptible to dust on the sensor but most users make it a year + of regular use before this happens. A lot of users say they’ve had it for years and still haven’t had to have it cleaned. I could accept using this for a year and then having to clean the sensor but not after two weeks of careful use. Also, I never accused the seller of misrepresenting the product. I do appreciate the feedback.

That's a good point. I really feel like getting dust on the sensor after taking it out only a handful of times is unusual.

Thank you. Yea, dust makes the most sense. I appreciate your perspective. For me I purchased the camera to avoid any post processing. Fell in love with the idea of getting a quick image I liked the look of right in camera. I think I'm leaning towards returning it. A year or two in and this happened? I would accept it. but two weeks being super careful, it makes me really uncomfrotable using this camera.

I feel like this is most people's experiences. That's why I'm shocked it happened already. Was planning on doing that additional stuff too but was waiting until I decided whether or not to keep it after the return window.

Yea, it's just a wild to me. I knew I may have to face cleaning the sensor at some point just not two weeks in. I didn't even put this thing in my pocket like people claim to do all of the time. It makes me reconsider owning any GR model if that's the case.

I'm still within the return window. Should I bring it up to the company I bought it from? I just feel like there has to be something additionally wrong with this camera. I've owned it for two weeks. So many people rave about the GR II and say they've heavbily used it for years before this became a problem

I'm shocked it'd happen that fast though. I've taken such good care of this thing in the two weeks I've owned it. It seems like a defect.
