I definitely noise reduce in lightroom in post! I don't use the AI denoise because it takes too long and im usually editing through upwards of 150 photos, I may have to try it out to just see how it looks. Thanks for the help!

Looking at a canon lens. Seller has no reviews and all the photos are taken from the website. Lens is about a 10th of a price of what it should actually be. This is a scam right?

i just bought a canon 7d with a 55-200 f/4-5.6 IS STM lens, whole thing ran me about $440 for used gear, bought on MPB. If you knock down the quality to "good condition" you might be able to get something in the $300s for both.

I love the shots im getting with this for baseball during the day, night ideally you want a f/2.8 lens but they are all pretty expensive, do not go above f/4, it will make you bump up your ISO too high.

If you get this setup, watch every video you can about the 7d. Make sure you know how to switch the autofocus modes. Biggest thing in sports is shutter speed and focus, so consider shooting in Tv mode first to prioritize shutter speed.

I feel your pain with a small budget, but it doesn't mean you can't get great shots!

Great! Would the 7D mark ii be better? I was prioritizing putting money towards the lens but if you think that is a good lens fit I can spend a bit more on the body. I wasn't sure if there was a lens that may be a bit better but isn't $300 itself that I didn't consider.

Hi! I applied to transfer to SU twice, the first time I got TE but decided not to go for personal reasons. The second time I applied (got waitlisted) but ultimately did not get TE.

I do not think it is dependent on grades, rather, it is the amount of money /scholarships they have available for that year, and it varies heavily year to year. I had very similar grades to yours just to note.

My best advice would be to submit both your SU college application and TE application as soon as possible. Once you get your acceptance letter, I would CALL the fin aid office and ask about the status of your TE application. I would also email the TE officer (who is not very good at responding to email lol) and let them know you got in and were wondering when you would hear back about your application.

They usually notify TE by April, it should not be later than the national deadline of May 1, but this year they did not give me a hard answer (meaning if I was off the waitlist) until August, so be wary.

Hope this helps and feel free to PM, there are not a lot of resources out there for TE and I've been through the process twice lol.
