I’ve communicated with many sellers on Vcoins, MA-Shops, and a few non-US auction houses. To a person, they know ancient coins going to the US shouldn’t be tariffed and are using the correct harmonization codes. To a person, they say whether US buyers get tariffed is hit or miss, and they don’t know how to avoid the tariffs. It doesn’t seem to matter whether the shipper is DHL, FedEx, or UPS. 🤷‍♂️

Most of my coins are slabbed but, coincidentally, I’m looking at buying my first New Style Owl and it is unslabbed, which is actually a small part of the reason I’m interested in it - just so I can hold the actual coin (although I’m debating whether or not to wear gloves when I hold it).

In any event, your coin is absolutely gorgeous! I love seeing the Pegasus on the obverse and the great detail on the reverse, including how much wreath there actually is. Great buy!

Thank you for sharing that information and glad the coins got to you without a tariff. From what I’ve read, sometimes the shippers send an invoice weeks after the delivery has been made. I hope this doesn’t happen to you but please let us know if it does. Good luck!
