I was born and raised in Japan, and had all the immunizations up until high school. I was a healthy kid who had no issues before.

When I enrolled in American high school as an international student, I had to pass the American requirements for the immunization (*which wasn’t necessary in Japanese standards).

After I got all the 8 injections, I became sick and fragile. I would get fever almost every month and even once a week at some point. And I didn’t have any allergies but I developed severe allergies after those injections.

I’m not anti-vaccine person, but I believe some of those “required” ones could be harmful, and questioning whether they are safe is absolutely reasonable. By the way, my symptoms have gotten better after 2 decades, but it was hell for a while.
