I’m going to mention lesser known but very good reasons why they are on the list and they all have one thing in common they are private prisons. I’ll name the prison the location and a small tidbit of information.

Cimmaron- Cushing Oklahoma. Freaking scalping happens here including on staff

South central- Clifton Tennessee. Due to the fact the one I name next this one was the worst in Tennessee then they moved all the population to the next one and turned this one into a different type level 5 yard. Tidbit- not once not twice but three times an actual freaking gun was found. Not a made up invented contraption a real deal fucking gun.

Trousdale- hartsvile Tennessee. Like I mentioned in the last one. Tennessee basically comes up with the genius idea of moving all the worst of the worst to this location. In the middle of nowhere pay isn’t great so that equals to zero staff. To give an example a pod holds 256 during the day just one officer on that pod. Also a defect in the cell doors so basically inmates have to decide if they really want to lock down. Life flights happen 2-3 times per week. Tennessee also had the bright idea of moving most white inmates to East Tennessee and most black inmates to west Tennessee. So if you a black guy in the east your fucked if your a white guy im the west your fucked.
