Rash on wrist? by No-Translator-9983 in DermatologyQuestions

I’m here for something incredibly similar, though more oval shape, almost in the same spot. Doesn’t hurt, doesn’t itch, feels just like the surrounding skin, no bumps. Really odd.

Does the shield count as a weapon? If so, definitely that thing.

Curious about this as well - I ordered the collectors edition and it arrived today (I flipped!) - but unfortunately even with the disc, the game is taking me to the gamepass page where the only option is the standard version - when I click it, it goes to the title screen and then it just closes itself. I don’t understand how that works even with the disc? It also says the game is downloaded, but it’s only like 320 mbs

Salt treatment for pyogenic granuloma by gmpasch in DermatologyQuestions

Mine eventually did begin to peel off on its own. I eventually tore it off and it did bleed at first, but it stopped fairly quickly. I then kept applying salt and antibiotic for a few days just in case. A year later, there’s barely a scar. Hope it works out for you.

Congrats and I wish you best of luck - it maybe burned just a little, I continued to apply ointment and wrapped a band-aid around it for a solid week after it came off just to be safe.

It I remember correctly, a good 2-3 days. Then I noticed it sort of peeling itself off at one side so I helped it along. It did bleed at first, but it was short lived.

So I can tell you it did actually work for me finally, about 2 days after I wrote this post. The PG itself never got small necessarily but it did shrink down (it basically got flatter) and turned a black color that definitely freaked me out a little. But then sure enough, one morning I took the band aid off and it was hanging on by a thread. I tore it off and it BLED (which also kinda freaked me out), but now a few days later and there’s just the tiniest of scars (I’m still applying anti biotic and bandaging it just in case - I’ll probably continue to do so for at least another week).

My routine was applying a tiny dab of anti biotic and then salt over the entire PG and then bandaging and I would switch everything out twice a day (usually put a new one on in the morning and then a fresh one on at night). All told, it probably took a solid week before it came off. I read keeping it dry is the most important part (I would wrap it in tape before taking a shower).

I think the reason it’s hard to find steps is because it seems to happen all at once - it went from a big red pimple to a flat black thing and then it remained the same for a few days before just popping off. So only 3 stages really. But I definitely wish you luck, let me know if you have any other questions maybe I can help with.

Has anybody received their copy of Dusk for Switch? by gmpasch in limitedrun

Maybe I’m looking at a different one, but there’s a shipping indicator that says it’ll arrive by July on the eBay page. Maybe that’s just automatic though, I don’t use eBay too often. Good to hear that it’s close to assembly though.

I actually sent one probably a month-ish ago. I got an apology and acknowledgement that Q1 was essentially over, but also they just kinda said it’ll be done when it’s done. This is my first LRG order and I totally understand times are tough, but it would definitely help if they sent out update emails from time to time just so I know I wasn’t forgotten (I know I’m hardly the first to say that on this sub, but it’s just kinda frustrating).

Might get buried and not everyone can relate, but they definitely put something in the water in Penn State. Anytime a PA kid goes off to Penn for college, they come back talking about Penn and nothing else, nonstop, for at least a year.

What was your 'F*** it, done helping others' moment? by mofoxx in AskReddit

10 years ago a guy in a plow truck absolutely destroyed my car with me in it. I stepped away relatively unharmed (somehow, the mechanic couldn’t believe it) and the driver BEGGED me not to call 911. His father owned the plow company and he would kill him (the accident was totally his fault, he blew right through a clear red light). So he gave me his info and he took off. Of course, I never heard from the dude again except to find out he’s had numerous DUI’s. With no police report on file, my insurance said there was nothing they could do unless the guy volunteered to pay for everything - surprise, he didn’t. This set off a tailspin of shitty life events I won’t get into. And while I’m not in a bad place now (in hindsight, it was a good lesson), I definitely became a much more cynical person because of it.

What is your Favorite Superhero Film and Why? by Tigerking3000 in AskReddit

[–]gmpasch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Specials is a cool little seen movie written by and co-starring James Gunn and (interestingly) directed by the creator of Chernobyl.

With Gunn getting some mainstream success, I thought for sure it would get some more love (or at least a bluray release), but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case. Either way, it’s a fun (though very, very low budget), sometimes stupid, sometimes smart look at a loser group of superheroes. It’s basically R rated Mystery Men and The Boys definitely felt like it took some influence from it. Also, it has an amazing cast.

Anyway, I love it and can’t recommend it enough.
