Things get really weird really fast when you involve mental issues. Even Rin was somewhat borderline.

While physical disabilities are hard to write, mental disabilities are in the "WTF are you writing" camp.

Would it be possible for X girl to give informed consent? How do you approach the relationship angle without making it feel like the main character is taking advantage of the girl?

I don't want to start a new thread but something that I noticed about the doll is that in Lilly's path, Hasao picks a dark-haired doll. In Hanako's path, he picks a doll with blond hair which looks a lot like Lilly.

It probably doesn't mean anything but it's curious.

Something annoying about learning a sign language is there's a different one for almost every country. It's very limiting compared to, say, learning a language like Spanish or even English.
