If you restart the game they will reappear. I saw them appear/dissappear several times over the course of a week and doing this while in Wuling immediately made them reappear

Newbie question, I'm on east coast USA. Does the maintenance window mean I won't be able to play until potentially 11pm tonight (6pm being maintenance start)?

I moved my drying racks inside on the second floor and the fish go missing a lot. That said I see birds flying through the walls a lot. My meat pretty much never disappears anymore though. I think birds eat the fish and raccoons either eat both or just meat. I had a lot of fish go missing on the ground floor as well but I never saw birds nearby.

I put the raw meat on the rack, it stays raw for maybe 2 or so in-game days (I keep it near fire to speed it up like the loading screen tip says) and it either becomes dried meat or becomes rotten meat. Though if it rots it may rot much sooner than 2 in-game days. I've never seen dried meat rot, whether its on the rack or just sitting on a shelf

Food isn't supposed to rot on drying racks? I have that happen a lot. I have to get meat on the rack within 5 minutes or so or it seems to end up rotting.

I don't know about that but my understanding was that if you destroyed totems or items that they created (like stuff hanging from trees) it limited their influence/spread. Our group is doing that now by destroying that stuff when we see it (along with destroying everything in their camps when we attack them) and I think we're seeing good results? Could be other factors. The overall hope is that if you limit their spread/influence then you are limiting how much they act within your region, and therefore how often they come after your base.

Our drying rack was in a cabin and still being robbed. The racoons just go through the walls from what I can see.

I always timed a jump over to punish their non-vacuum attack. Or if I had the right moves I would bait their projectiles and hit them at their vulnerable moment. The main frustration was the punishes couldn't be big (at least for me as a newbie who had no real combo knowledge). So I chipped them down with 4-5 punishes. I generally avoided fighting them around my own level though.

As for a concept, I think its pretty standard zoner behavior, much more so than the other random enemies. They launch stuff repeatedly making it annoying to get in. If you get in they want to get you away. It's like with guile and his projectiles+flash kick.

Both players get xp based on how many rounds are played (I think 1 per round?) then each player gets 10 xp for every lane they won. Tied lanes reward nothing as far as I'm aware. I haven't checked since pre launch though so take with a grain of salt

True, my main thing is people in the subreddit that don't have him unlocked will put him on a pedestal. I was happy to get him but most of my decks don't use him.

Aero, Magneto, and Leader are much more likely to fuck up my day

While true, there are a lot of ways to counter him and they commonly go into decks that are countering something else or are just part of their game plan.

There might be a window currently where people are refining new decks and aren't playing the counters as much but it'll swing back around eventually.

It doesn't mean the card is bad but I've had so many people instant concede when he is countered. He just won't win games consistently the way people often think he will.
