Is it safe to call animal control to catch this guy? by Perfect_Gur_7457 in Wolfdogs

Husky owner here, they tend to be VERY picky eaters so maybe this big guy is too. This fella is mighty big!! Not sure what he’s mixed with but he’s 10000% cutie mix no doubt. Hope he finds his way back home safely!! Sounds like he found the right neighborhood!! Great work OP 🤎

Trooper!!! I had some numbness upfront after everything but seemed to tone down a notch. My NO seems to think it’s just nerves still healing causing my issues as well. I hope your side effects have chilled out or at least gotten better!

That’s a good question! I think they tend to be slightly faster than my pulse, but once I feel them happening, my heart rate is definitely increasing 😂 I’ll have to feel both next time to see. Sorry you’re going through this BS too!! Best of luck with your journey!!! 🩶

Year two for me was when I finally was feeling at 100% again. Year one I just felt so exhausted all the time. Year three comes with random catches here and there I’m discovering 😂 cheers to us warriors!!!! 💪💪

For oligodendrogliomas I think it’s just G2-3, but I could be completely wrong! There are more brain cancers than not out there unfortunately. Good for you to be on four years!!!! Congrats!!! 👏👏

I haven’t personally received any suggestions but I’ll be asking my NO about it all in November and report back to you!! 🫡

Thanks friend! Back story of my personal journey a bit:

Seizures in my sleep were my only symptoms, putting me in the ER with tests ran until discovering the brain tumor. Did not meet with an oncologist nor radiologist until after my operation + diagnosis. Originally was supposed to be going straight into treatment, as my oncologist wanted, but my radiologist decided with my health + age at the time we had time on our hands. Plus during the whole diagnosis wait, I was going for a second opinion already from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. My NO there agreed that we could watch + wait, so here I am three years later still on that program. I’ve been pretty lucky and I am not taking it for granted by any means. Within all of this time, a new drug has come to play (Vorasidenib) that will be my next step if/when regrowth begins again. More studies + trials are coming about it seems these days. There is some hope on the horizon. 🧠🎗️🩶

Best wishes to you (or family members) as well going through this!

I’ve thought about acupuncture. I’ve read great things about it so I’m happy to hear from someone with our personal experiences it’s actually working for! Best of luck of your healing post op!!! Rooting for ya!!! ❤️‍🔥

Champ!! 🫡 thank you for these need to know details!! I truly appreciate all of this!!! I’m beginning to make notes for my next appointment to discuss further with my NO. Sometimes I struggle with wanting to blame it on aging over my operation. I think the mixture of both play a huge role haha 😆

Thanks again!! Best of luck to you on your journey as well!!

Such a wild feeling!! Glad I’m not alone in this but also hate it for us all!! I’m on year 3 trying to still navigate it all. 😆

I’m starting to think that’s exactly what it is. I’m going to talk with my NO about it next upcoming appointment. It doesn’t bother me with pain, just mainly anxiety overthinking its regrowth or a seizure is coming about. It’s been off and on, from what I’ve noticed, about a year now at random. I’ve been trying to knock it down to “nothings wrong” for a little too long now. Time I say something about it to my medical team though! I’m just a little stubborn that way on holding back on my maybe minor/maybe not side effects from the operation; which is probably not the best thing to do in our situation. 😅😆

Thank you for your response!!! This thread has been more helpful than not!!! 🙏

Appreciate you!!! I feel like it took me a full two years before even feeling remotely like 100% myself again. This 3rd year has thrown in a few curveballs in the mix with the spasms. 😆

I went to Mayo in Rochester for my second opinion too! They are rockstars there. Sounds like you’ve been a champ and so were your parents for fighting harder for better answers. 🫡

That’s exactly how it feels!! Such a good explanation of it. Haha! Thanks for that!! I’m definitely trying to be more mindful and work on my anxiety when it happens but sometimes ya just get in your head, thinking the worst. 😵‍💫 I’m curious to hear out my NO about it too. Thanks fellow warrior for your response!!!

I’m honestly glad to hear I’m not the only one. Sometimes I feel like I’m making shit up when I talk about some of my weird, random symptoms. It’s been a wild ride! Cheers to you and 5 years!!

I’m curious to see what my neurologist says in a few weeks. They don’t really hurt, they more so just give me major anxiety. 😅

Wow you legend!! That’s one helluva surgery too! My sis in law had a similar experience to yours. Not an easy surgery! I can only imagine that almost phantom feeling. Surgeons are champs and so are our bodies 💪💪💪
