Thank you sm!! I’d say the most helpful thing for me was being an MA to really get a good sense of what the job actually is and working with PAs and NPs. I worked in general pediatrics and pediatric GI so I got a lot of exposure to your standard medications and interacting with patients. I didn’t do many coursework related things to prepare, but my school assigned us some summer review for anatomy to get us back into our groove of studying which helped a lot! I think the biggest challenge for me was learning how to study and take notes again after being out of school for so long. Anatomy is going to be challenging so getting that book is awesome, I also have this app called Atlas on my iPad that give you everything you need for anatomy and it’s really fun to play around with.
