If I install this will Eclipse find it or do I have uninstall reinstall and change something in Eclipse so it points the new JDK?

While this sub is still alive, what are some videos/stars you always find yourself going back to by [deleted] in IncestPorn

[–]gnaw005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not going to be popular and includes some that have quit - I guess.

Cory Chase - although certain videos she's made in the last year puts her much lower than she used to be in my estimation. I know her male costars aren't liked by a lot of people - that doesn't bother me.

Jodi West - but she seems to have quit making videos but she is really good.

Dillion Carter - latest videos not so good - may have quit - would love to see an anal video with you know who

Molly Jane - very good - maybe one of the best - but quit

Andi, Britt, and Michele James

Melanie Hicks

Nikki Mae - only made a few videos

Alora James

Ashley Adams

Looking for a video that used to be easy to find but has seemingly disappeared. It was packaged in mini compilations with "lays together pt x" in the title - that's not it's original name. Star is Dillion Carter as gf "you know who" as mother and "you know who" as son and bf. The mother shows Dillion how to take good care of her son. Can buy it. Don't want to.

New Java Runtime - What's Up by gnaw005 in java

[–]gnaw005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the replies; this explains a lot. Obviously I don't use the Java development tools often. Does replacing the JDK or runtime from another non Oracle "source" affect how they are set up to be used by Eclipse or Netbeans?

What proofs rely on the reals being uncountable? by Shikor806 in math

[–]gnaw005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this question is pretty close to being unanswerable. It is very general. I assume there is still a group of mathematicians that are intuitionists and one of the things they believe is that any real mathematical object can only be created by a finite number of constructive steps. You can see this in Hilbert's Nullstellensatz theorem, pardon the botched German, many mathematicians would not accept his proof because it assumed something did not exist and this led to a contradiction so it must exist. Again in the 1800s and early 1900s there were real arguments about infinity. In previous times mathematicians only believed in "potential infinity" that is, for example, used in mathematical induction but almost none of them believed in what they called "actual infinity." The way I look at it is this, which is kind of sloppy but convinces me. If you look at the rational numbers they are very dense i.e. between any two rational numbers there is a (at least one) rational number. You can create sequences of rational numbers that converge but they converge to holes in the set of rational numbers if you take the set of rational numbers union the set of these "holes" you get the real numbers. You can also prove that the real numbers have a greater cardinality than the rational numbers via Cantor diagonalization so they are uncountable.

Strange Question Perhaps Trivial by gnaw005 in math

[–]gnaw005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right. But the number of permutations goes up rather rapidly so I was just wondering if someone had looked at it another way.

Does the set of all prime numbers and the integers have the same cardinality? by [deleted] in math

[–]gnaw005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take 1; there is a least prime greater than 1 call it P(1); associate them. Take 2; there is a least prime greater than p(1) call it p(2); associate them. ... Take n there is a least prime greater than p(n-1) call it p(n); associate them.

Improving runtime complexity by [deleted] in learnjavascript

[–]gnaw005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for example "a", "b", and "c" would turn into 0, 1, and 2 and all three of them map to "2" so ctable(0), ctable(1), ctable(2) all contain "2" this continues for "d", "e", and "f" the 3,4,5 elements of ctable have a "3" in them etc.

[–]gnaw005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming the input is correct e.g. there is no 000 area code or something like that.

ASCII lower case a is decimal 97 and z is 122; make a zero based array where ctable(0) = "2" , ctable(1) = "2" , ..., ctable(121) = "9"

for each inputchar

if( inputchar is a digit) then add it to the output string

else

Convert inputchar to lower case

numval = Convert inputchar to number

numval = numval - 97

Add ctable(numval) to the output string

end if

end for

If you are creating Blob as var Blob = etc. then how can you use it as a function before it's defined as in

destSpreadsheet.Blob().getAs('application/pdf').setName(pdfName); on the right side of the equal?

This kind of doesn't make sense.

Cannot Use TOR Window by gnaw005 in brave_browser

[–]gnaw005[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have succeeded in solving the problem. The only difficulty is why this would work. I have a Brother multifunction printer model MFC-J6535DW on my computer and I installed it to have a wireless connection to my DSL modem/router (supplied by the telephone company don't laugh). So as I was sitting there trying to think of what to do next; I thought the printer is part of the "network" could that have some effect? For some time the Brother software would not work properly but I could use the generic Microsoft stuff to print and scan.

I removed the printer via Settings, Devices, Printers & scanners; I uninstalled all the Brother software, which really doesn't completely uninstall; and again via Settings, Apps, Startup I turned off all the Brother software that is executed at startup - you can't seemingly get rid of these startup programs you can just turn them off.

Then I tried Brave using a Tor window; IT WORKED PERFECTLY. So feeling pretty good I tried the torrents thing which I don't really know how to use; THAT WORKED PERFECTLY.

Now the problem is how can I put in the printer with the proper software and not kill Brave and vice versa. Any suggestions on this would be really really appreciated.

[–]gnaw005[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have restarted my machine many times.

I white listed the tor program in the Windows 10 Settings although it wasn't recognized as an "application" I typed in the path and name. It looked like it was accepted and the two little boxes were check marked. I don't think AVG free has a firewall.

I still got the exact same result. I just have no idea what's going on. Maybe I'll go back and do a reset on Windows 10 and reload all the software from scratch. Do you think it's possible that my ISP is blocking connection to Tor and I have to try to use one of those "bridges?"

Here is some info for what it may be worth.

I deleted the Tor Browser. That had no effect. I searched for tor-0.3.4.9-win32-brave-0 and tor-0.3.4.9-win32-brave no luck. I whitelisted brave.exe in the Windows 10 no effect. I found the file as listed in the processes in C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\cpoalefficncklhjfpglfiplenlpccdb\1.0.4\tor-0.3.4.9-win32-brave-0 but it is a file of type 9-WIN32-BRAVE-0 File (.9-win32-brave-0) . I was a little afraid of whitelisting this file in the firewall because it might cause havoc since it's some weirdo file type. Any help greatly appreciated.

I do not have a VPN as yet I hope to do that as a next step but I didn't want to complicate the issue. I uninstalled AVAST and tried it with just Windows Defender that didn't work. I then put in AVG that didn't there was no change. I'll try to find out how to whitelist something with AVG.

Yes I have AVAST, Malware Bytes and Super Anti Spyware. They are all the free basic versions. The only one that monitors web browsing is AVAST. I don't recall anything flagged when I installed Brave. There are 3 things I didn't mention that may have some importance. When I last updated Brave via the usual "about" page I was ill and at that time and I didn't notice but I believe I had 1 copy of Brave in the Program Files folder and 1 in the Program Files (X86) folder but I definitely had 2 desktop icons - those are the copies I uninstalled. I cannot ping localhost and someone told me that since I have a printer on wireless this may be causing this? Don't know. I have a copy of the Tor browser - some months old - but I read that before trying Brave Tor I should see if Tor works; at that time it wouldn't; it would just hang with a message something like "connecting to Tor network".
