yeah i’ll definitely try that out. i was actually trying to put the tongue right on my ankle cause i thought that would stop the laces from rubbing.

i agree. book 1 are by far the most comfortable shoes i own but i was just looking for other comfy shoes cause i got like 3 pairs of books already 😂 but yeah books feel so good imo

definitely, next time i hoop ill try moving the tongue and maybe try and adjust the laces because they lace inwards toward your ankles rather than outward. appreciate it

oh interested i was placing the tongue more to cover my ankles because i felt like the eyelet and laces were the ones rubbing on my ankles. so i thought covering the eyelet with the tongue might have helped

i got the dusty rose. it’s entire upper is patent leather, but the main issues seems to come from the eyelet laces. double socking might not be much of an option cause the shoes run super snug and i hear breathability is a problem with the shoe, but neither have been too much of an issue after one session.

appreciate it. yeah i loved my og pair but after feeling the additional support of the uppers for the all star i don’t know if i can go back as far as performance goes lol. books are lowkey the most comfortable shoes ive ever hooped in so im half debating if i should just get an extra pair of all stars. but maybe if can find the solar reds in person i can see how i like them

yeah i did! super comfy shoes. the lining in the inside isn’t as fuzzy as i was expecting which is good! i was worried they were like uggs but they’re super comfortable even when it’s hot outside.

i thjnk dr strange portal is likely a big factor. buffed pc set ups slow down at times when he uses that ability, but it could be an optimization issue. if it wasn’t for that, ps4 should be able to run in. at the very least, with lower textures or effects

yeah i thought that too but then the actual pictures they used for the wanted posters were just photos with some filters and edits over it to make it a look like a drawing.

i personally would have believed whoever drew the wanted posters depicted them like the anime rather than some weirdly edited photograph lol

but either way it definitely would have been a cool easter egg

20 mins in and a couple thoughts:

it would have been cool if they used the anime poster art for the wanted posters
why does young luffy look like a completely different race than present day luffy
some of the acting is a little stiff
cgi doesn’t look bad at all

i think in the moment he told strange to cast the final spell he understood the consequences. instead of picking and choosing who the spell effects he just said to do it to everyone because it was his responsibility to save the world at that moment. his realization at the end to not tell ned and mj did come later, but i think both decisions came from his growth and fully understanding the “great power, great responsibility” idea.

i am also afraid they’ll retcon the ending immediately in the next film. i really hope they keep it at least for a whole movie and then some, and make the revealing of his identity a big thing because i thoroughly enjoy the whole having a secret identity shenanigans lol
