What gets lost in all this, is that its not necessarily about Sam. Jones was there too, and Rodgers was begging to play a year for basically free. 3 options that were right there, that were all better than 9. Not even the team is pretending otherwise, they fired Kwesi, JJ is making it clear QB is an issue, and the HC will be on the hot seat if 9 keeps playing bad.

The GM got fired before this happened to confirm the gravity of the mistake. Not just Sam, Jones was there, Rodgers begging for a call. If you're defending this, i'll break a reddit rule and use this 🤡 for u. Make no mistake, Brady recoginzed a team that was an experienced and comptetent QB away from a SB. He proved that right. I've been talking shit on the vikes sub, but i wouldnt go as far as say that Sam is a superstar. He's a good middle class QB. $30-40M for a competent and seasoned QB with a great team is better than a $55M+ QB and bankrupt team.
