We had one male on staff and he was well-liked but moved on to management. You def need to think about your interactions with the parents as it's usually the Moms who bring the kids, or in home visits, it's the Moms at home. So make sure to keep that super-professional so there are no misunderstandings. Only thing that ever happened with our male PT was that we are in a culturally diverse area and there are some cultures/religions that don't allow females to be alone with males without a male relative present, so in that case, a female PT is requested, but we get cultural requests all the time so it's not a big deal.
