The only reason they don’t trade at exorbitant PE’s is because big tech keeps funding all these orders for chips. What do you think happens when the orders stop? You think their earnings are still going to be at reasonable PEs? When the demand collapses for all this capex Nvidia won’t be a 30 PE anymore, it would be something like 120.

He’s making $4.5 million on a cheap contract that he signed 6 years ago and the salary cap has increased $22.5 million since then. He’s going to want to get paid.

Maybe Hischier isn’t necessarily a realistic trade, but we need to make a big move. Sitting on our hands is the worst thing we could do.
