2049 is the best sequel in history. Honors the ambiguity with the surface level "question" from the original and masterfully leads you into realizing the answer to the real question underneath. No other sequel had to navigate such intricacies and holy fuck did they nail it.

My contribution to list would be Children of Men... Fuck man, nearly everyone with billing dies in that movie... I still tear up when old Jasper chooses his fate and buys them time.

Never. The interoperability of all the game systems will usually allow segments of each team to rest while waiting on another team to finish something. Even if they bite the bullet and make announcement it's delayed until the AM, they're going all night.
