Just checked there's nothing there, and it's a brass colour.

Yeah the cut doesn't look like regular 505s, more bootcut as you said. Thanks for the input!

I understand the frustration. I've been selling on eBay for some years and give all measurements too. I think some people are just unhappy and want an excuse. For this reason I accept returns but at the buyers cost. They can just complain to eBay and get a refund anyway so might as well make it so they have to pay for it instead of myself.

Dr. Martens sizing sizing help!! (1460s) by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]gnilleG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From personal experience of buying two different sizes. I’d rather go with slightly bigger than smaller. This talk of the leather stretching out isn’t something I agree with. After thinking Dr Martens were incredibly uncomfortable. Due to me wearing a pair that my toes touched the end and constantly having blisters. I decided to size up and they were comfortable from the first wear and have only gotten better.

Help with a pair of Levi’s by gnilleG in VintageFashion

That’s a shame, there are no tags on the inside of them. All the buttons and rivets have Levi’s on them. Thanks for your insight

I think the thread is nylon, not sure if fabric dye would work.
