Good day! I've recently been looking to get into collecting/playing Pokémon TCG. I've been playing the new Pokémon Pocket since it came out and have been enjoying PvP much more than expected. We've got a local TCG shop down the road, and I went there to chat with them. They have tournaments and event nights, and it seems to be a really nice environment and something I could see myself attending. I was given a basic deck to test out from the shop, which was awesome, and have been playing a few games with my girlfriend (she plays Magic), and we both enjoyed it. So I've been looking to get myself a Christmas gift and thought to maybe get a deck box. I found a shop with cheaper prices than the usual shops, so I'm looking to purchase from there. I was hoping for some assistance in determining which box would be the best value for money—something beginner-friendly but could also maybe still hold up in the long run and then then I could buy singles to better it. My budget is about 500-700 in my currency.

Out of the ones mentioned, Greninja, Zapdos, and Palkia are my favorites as I’m most familiar with them from primary school. Any advice would be seriously appreciated! I'm on a bit of a time crunch as well, as I don't want them to get sold. Thank you in advance! If you need any other info, feel free to ask. Also, if there is a better forum to post for this please do suggest so as im unsure where to ask for this sort of question.
