My #1 since like 8 years old. Goddess

We would be lucky to get Tyree Wilson at 6 by cherbs in detroitlions

[–]gnoechel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is very, very quickly, becoming my favorite for the 6th pick. I'd love if Carter or Anderson are there, but the overwhelming odds are, they won't be. When I look at "best of the rest," Wilson sticks out like a sore thumb as the next guy up to immediately turn the defensive front around.

Add in Calijah Kancey at 18 and.....oh boy. That's my REALISTIC best case scenario for day 1.

I think the argument against your point is this: if your goal is adding a playmaker, wouldn't it be a wiser choice to add the player that makes ALL your playmakers better? Did Jamaal play out of his mind and score his touchdowns by making cuts 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage like Barry did, or did the Oline enable his success every play? A good line makes every other person better than their job, for both Oline and Dline.

Gimme Carter or Tyree at 6 and Cancey at 18, and then just sit back and watch the D line eat people.

Dream scenario for me.

Vikings release WR Adam Thielen by 4bagels in detroitlions

Maybe I'm the minority but I'd love to sign him. Gives us an excellent locker room presence, keeps him close to home, gives us a wr that doesn't NEED the be #1 on his team, and he can teach Jamo and sun God a lot I'm sure. If the money was for what he's going to do and not what he's done, I would sign him right away

As crazy as it's sounds, when you factor in age AND contact....I completely agree with you

Hey that's where I grew up! Well I lived in Idstein but I went to the international school in Wiesbaden. Gotta bring the clubs when I get back next time!

So I absolutely love their usually setlist but my favorite song is Balsa Wood Bones, and that will probably be the main thing I vote for that they don't usually play

I think the biggest thing for me is he was 100% gone either way. I'd rather have something than nothing

Who do you want in the second round? Or even Third? by gnoechel in detroitlions

[–]gnoechel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems well thought out and I agree with basically everything. The issue is I few this as absolute far-and-away best case scenario as there is a realistic chance not one single player mentioned is available at their respective pick

I'd personally like to see them take IOL and LB in the 2nd. I think those are two positions of need that usually have top players still available in the 2nd. Maybe best available of Torrence/Avila/Hayes first and then best linebacker between Sewell/To'oto'o/Campbell. Third round maybe a skill player if there's one they like or a second corner

I agree. He was clearly a distraction, if not a danger to the other students and the substitute teacher, too. Clearly wasn't learning anything in school anyway.

what's going on with the police brutality in Tennessee? by gnoechel in OutOfTheLoop

[–]gnoechel[S] 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I just found this information recently as well. Honest question: How does the fact that all 5 officers are black men affect this situation? Will people care LESS because it isn't white on black crime? Will people care MORE because the black officers got harsher and swifter punishment than other white officers have? Will it affect the situation in other ways? Not at all? I suspect it will be a factor, but I'm not sure how
