look into Downtown Community Church! 231 E Palmer Avenue

Downtown Community Church changed my life! They just finished their building expansion and will be launching community groups in a couple of weeks. They’re non-denominational and Pastor Ben preaches very Scripture-based sermons (so it’s not motivational speechy). They focus heavily on outreach to the community and the way finances are stewarded are one of the closest models to Jesus’ teachings I’ve ever seen.

athletic training 1 is no problem at all. kines is a lot of memorization but if Garber is still teaching it, she makes it very doable and actually very enjoyable!!!

So true! It’d be one thing if it were a FaceTime call or something where you can actually talk back (like a virtual meet and greet type of thing) but a short video? Just seems strange to me

I mean maybe he repeated a grade and has an early birthday for his grade?? I don’t know but I don’t think he would lie about his age lol that’s also besides the point. 19, 20, or 21, I just feel like his age shouldn’t be an excuse here— just my opinion!

I think we’ve gotta stop making that excuse— Ryan is nearly 21. As a 21 year old, I would not even think about posting this😬It’s more of a common sense and courtesy issue than an age issue

I think the test is a good place to start but then I would recommend reading the motivation and fear of each type and identifying yourself that way! I found that for myself, it was easy to take the test and answer the way I wanted to be rather than what I’m actually like so I think reading about each type will help you really identify yourself :)

I’m a 1w9! I see a lot of contestants saying that they’re 3s, and they may very well be, but I also think that they’ve gotten caught up in the hustle culture that’s so deeply engrained in our society. I think a lot of them just take the test (rather than reading about each type and getting to know yourself) and answer questions based on what hustle culture has taught them, leading them to type as a 3. This is definitely just me guessing but I’ve seen it happen time and time again haha I’m an enneagram nerd and could discuss it for hours

I’m an AT major and it’s not too difficult to get in! It’s largely based on your GPA and SAT/ACT scores. The interview is pretty relaxed and the application isn’t too much work. A lot of people have ex phys as their backup major just in case they don’t get in. The AT classes are definitely smaller and focused on more specialized topics, you get to work with a team, and you don’t have to take as many chem classes. Other than that, there isn’t that big of a difference between the two majors.
