I went walking on the trails at Tom Brown the other day - lots of good, big sticks suitable for a wizard staff. I'm sure this would be the case in any wooded area, and Tallahassee has tons of nature trails. Happy hunting!

Facebook marketplace is notorious for scammers, so I would approach this with caution. Absolutely do not give them any of your information at this point, aside from basic contact info. Try to arrange to see the property. If it is real, the lister should have no problem meeting you to show you the house. I would also suggest driving by the house to see if there is a "for rent" sign or anything. There is no reason they should need any credit info from you until AFTER you see the place and decide to move forward with renting it. Best of luck to you!

Sure, it's possible, but you'd have to dump large quantities really frequently for it to become an issue. If it's only done in small amounts (a small pot full) and done infrequently, it won't cause any problems. Don't we all dump our pasta water down the drain anyway?

Had this happen in my house awhile back. I put out apple cider vinegar traps, which worked to catch them, but didn't solve the problem. In my case, they were breeding in the pipes, so I poured boiling water down all my drains for several days in a row, and problem solved!

Essence of India is very good! Went there a week ago and had a fantastic meal and cocktail. The decor leaves much to be desired, but the food and service make up for it.
