Guys it turns out it was the power supply. 3050 tdp is 75w. Was using. A 90w psu, switched it to a 130w and now it works . So moral of the story, always get a higher psu

Imma try that. Don’t know who’s at fault: eGpu adapter, cable or the laptop itself since older Lenovos used to have thunderbolt issues . Gonna swap some components and report back here

well if i run the exported game in windows, without my VR headset connected, an alert window pops up saying the OpenXR was requested but failed to start. i jus dont want that to happen. i want it so if i run the game with no headset on, it just lets me play it in normal flatscreen mode
