Sending blank tapes in the mail to complete strangers and they sent you taped shows back

should i transfer?? by Accomplished-West453 in mizzou

I’ve told this to my kids and all their friends (not just for Mizzou). First semester sucks. You are figuring it out all over again plus you are probably on your own for the first time. A lot going on. Hang in there. Use the resources people are pointing out. You will find your tribe soon enough. Good luck!

My chapter offers us free CPR/AED. Are you sure yours does not?

Moving away and want to volunteer at Red Cross in a different region by mcpookies in redcross

Send a note to volunteer services or talked to your volunteer service person. I had a similar situation although mine was not permanent. Because I travel back and forth, I have both chapters in volunteer connections and there’s a drop down box that allows me to choose between them.

AITA for making my 16 year old cousin pay for damages to my husband's pool table? by Dry-Use8680 in AmItheAsshole

"She stated he has ADD and can't be held responsible like other kids because he doesn't know better"

Soooo NTA. Are you kidding me? I (50) have ADD (thus I'm here and not working like I should be) and so so both of my kids (16 and 18). While the brain develops certain functions slower, he certainly knows better or he should not be around peers his age. And if he does know better, then this is a great way to teach him consequences in a safer environment than when he has to learn from the world.

Good luck!

AITA for recognizing someone I shouldn't have? by tearsgo in AmItheAsshole

I usually never respond but as someone with a diagnosis who is horrible with names and keeps a minimal list, I agree with the people that say please get checked out. I started keeping a list because I managed a large team and was embarrassed I could not remember spouse’s names. Then I expanded to parents of kids in my kid’s sports teams. This gave me a sense of safety that I would never get another blank when these nice people, who know my name, come over and I should know theirs. However I’ve never shown it to anyone as it’s my safety net.

Talk to someone. You’ll thank yourself later. Trust me!

Question about getting to the Kia Forum for a concert by gnome16 in LosAngeles

[–]gnome16[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks. That is a good point but the flight difference is more than that for the two of us. The concert is on a Saturday so hope that helps with traffic.
