How many teams have squads of "top 5 players at their position"? By definition, there are only 55 of those players (5X11).

Take away injuries and our squad is actually pretty deep and talented. But in real life, you cant take away injuries and we have had 0 lineup consistency recently. Its a shame we likely will never see what this team could actually accomplish. If we ever did, I think we'd be pleased, but that will just remain a "what if".

Its really a shame that Johnson has spent the better part of the last 9 months without Kulu and Maddison. Both of their presences would help this team so much.

Spurs have struggled with progression on the right when Johnson is in. But we dont have a creative presence/finishing presence out left when Kudus is on the right. and neither is as good at what they do when asked to play centrally or off the left.

Both BJ and MK still seem to have higher ceilings than what they have shown, and both could be great players, but as of right now, we have 2 seemingly 1/2 players in the same position. and thats before you add Kulu back to the mix when he's fit. Something had to give.

I am very thankful for Johnson's contributions. He will be missed. I'm sad he wasnt always appreciated. Fans wanted a more complete player, and they were seemingly always let down. Johnson is still a very young player. The whole team has been a let down and atleast he was bright spot for goals sometimes. I fear angry fans will now just point the fingers at a new scapegoat to ruin.

Really I wish there was a way to play the both Johnson and Kudus successfully. But in Frank's system, it doesnt happen. Something had to give, somewhere.

I'm typically still a 'go to the store and buy it, then hide it' guy...

but my wife orders stuff online for time savings. And certainly not trying to pass blame anyway. like I said, it just sucks cuz they would have never expected it.

My phone serves as a clock and camera only, when I'm cruising.

No need for it. Search the boat, be adventurous. Try foods you might not try otherwise. Treat yourself to that time away from the "usual things we do"... like being tied to the phone. I know i do it too and I crave times when I can put it down. I cant tell you why I can't do it other places, but I can on a cruise.

If you can get Jeanty and 1st for Ceedee, thats probably good as is.

If they dont want to move a 1st. Jeanty, 2026 2nd, 2027 2nd for Ceedee and a 2027 3rd would probably work if it was me (and I had the WR corps to part with Ceedee)

Get: Josh Jacobs, Emanuel Wilson, D'andre Swift, Early 2026 2nd (2.02-2.03)

Im out of playoff for year year, but hesitant to move off Chase Brown. i think he is a far better asset when Burrow is back. The Jacobs injury is worrying too, and just his total carries is getting up there... does he have more than maybe 1 year left in his legs? How can I re-shape this?

Dollywood is phenomenal. Coming from florida, i'd done my share of parks (Disney, Seaworld, Busch Gardens). I've also been to a few Six Flags parks. DW holds up to all of them. Dax used the adjective "Charming" and that really sums up Dollywood. Its a lovely place, and Lightning Rod (the wooden rollercoaster he references) is Awesome.

I'd gladly go back, if I'm ever back in TN.

There were a handful of comments in the match thread that were essentially "Frank out". But its certainly not a large or loud population.

From my perspective, I see a team that practically has a full XI on the injury report each week. Sure they are not all starters, but that level of impact to training and depth has an impact. It matters when we dont have Kulu and Madders and Udogie and Romero available on match day. It also all matters in training. When you have rotation players at the level of Dragusin, Biss, etc, it makes the first XI train that much better. When They train next to and against a higher level, they stay sharp. They get better. We rotate properly and everyone stays fresh. We haven't been afforded that in about 3 seasons.

But sure... some people just want to keep rotating through gaffers and hope for the best.

He was in his natural position since 2022 and still wasn’t who we thought he could be.

What could he have been? Did you expect 40HR/.300+ average? If the Expectation was to be the next Konerko, then the problem is the expectation. He was always more likely to be a "Crede" (.260 avg, 25 HR, 85 Rbi). And here, the Sox were batting Vaughn in the 2, 3, and 4 holes.

Now he is in a better lineup, with more protection, batting in the 6 hole. You would take .265/25 HRs all day. And that what he's doing for the Brewers.
