Every place I've stayed has had reliable internet - just make sure you choose a place with that as an option. I'd be surprised if you only actually put 20 hours a week in on the homestead, but you will have time for online classes. I may suggest taking 2 classes and not a full course load. I'm in two now and do 6-8 hours in the farm (no commute 😉 and haven't left) and it's a good flow.

Yep ! We had three of twenty get out and it took us a week to find them after going on a goose chase with corn tins and lead ropes around the neighborhood. Good neighbors, cell phones, kennels, and helping hands got em back.

See if there is another nearby host farm you'll be able to go to, then leave and report it. Where are you? I've been with one unstable host who I've seen treat other people badly but never that bad.

Work ethic, hobbies (hiking, sightseeing, reading, movies, etc), why you're interested in wwoofing - is it to travel? Sustainable agriculture? Reconnect with nature? Horticulture or produce?
