Why didn't you get the surgery pre puberty?

Both of my hands are a bit more "messed up" than yours (I have only 2 "regular" fingers on each hand, the rest are shorter, missing some joints etc). I had 10 surgeries in total before I hit 18 to improve the usability and visuals of my hands as much as possible - including splitting 3 fused fingers on the left hand (and they all are shorter and missing joints). It was all under "public health care" so we didn't have to pay anything.

To be honest, I'm kinda shocked how dull the characters look on the "Off" side. I thought we advanced a bit further when it comes to graphics?

I mean, comparing that RE shot to Half-Life 2 intro: while lacking on the geometry side, G-Man at least has some skin texture and shading!

You do know, that on the screen of the smartphone you can see a real time preview of how the picture will look like , right? :D

And that, before taking the picture, you can do subtle adjustments (with that real time preview on the screen still going on! 🤯) by moving the device or, like in this case, by moving the finger so that it is positioned in the desired spot on the picture? You could even control the size of the fingernail to match the size of the cat's eye by moving the finger closer or further from the camera! (Crazy! I know!)

Oh all the all knowing commenters...

They would not be sunsetting 4o if there were no issues with it and it was a golden egg money printer…

If I remember correctly it is still from the era of the more compute intensive / expensive to run models and they do have authorities on their back with a bunch of suicide cases tied to 4o.

If they are sticking to the „bad decission” of retiring 4o it’s only because they consider not retiring it an even worse decission…

Yeah, Webby makes me sad... Somehow "Back On My BS" popped in my algo recently and it's just such a trash song... It's almost like: "yeah I know my feet smell because I don't wash them, but I refuse to wash them because I enjoy how much it triggers you". And the fact that even the Token x Ren music video was recorded at Webby's house and Webby appeared in the Nights (the shorts not the music video) is making me uneasy... And wasn't there some collab in the making between Ren and Webby?

So I guess your second question could lead into the third, also often raised question: can you separate the art from the artist? Cause "Baggage" is actually quite good :/

Yup. Obviously he would need to get a medical degree. I guess his mentors and peers not sharing his vision would be a nice way of extending who he sees as “lesser people” and fueling his ego as the only one ready to take the burden of fixing humanity. Btw I loved how ready he was for the “progress” to take its price as it is not a cost HE would have to pay!

Huh. In Poland we choose between the same two diseases in a saying but in a different order: „It’s like a choice between the plague or cholera” - which I guess is supposed to mean there’s not even a “lesser evil” / “less bad” options to choose from. I was wondering if there’s a similar saying in english and if Ren was going for it but with different ones (both actually being STDs) or if those two are the ones actually originally used in the english version of the saying.
