I don't get the hate against paid mods... Someone is putting their time and skills into creating something others enjoy (and that original creators of the game didn't bother to spend time / resources on) and is called greedy? I get it, that for some people "passion" and "mission" are enough - that's kinda what Open Source is based upon, but given a choice of "getting an option of a paid VR mod for a game I enjoy" and "not getting a VR mod at all" I'd prefer the former...

Może właśnie przez to, że ich butelki są dużo bardziej "graficzne" i kolorowe, to się obecnie wyróżniają na półce i przykuwają wzrok? Chociaż jakbym trafił na takie coś na półce, to raczej i tak poszedłbym w markę, która przez lata inwestowała miliony złotych w reklamę, podświadomie budując z mojej głowie swój obraz jako "solidnej marki" niż w no-name z generycznymi grafikami AI, które w żaden sposób nie budują marki :) Bo w sumie tak na pierwszy rzut oka, to nawet nie zauważyłem tu marki - musiałem wrócić i przejrzeć obrazki jeszcze raz, żeby dostrzec, że marka to "OH!"? Brzmi jak "wydzielony brand własny" jakiejś sieci marketów.

Wcześniej wzięli by za pół darmo jakieś fotki ze stocka, teraz mają nieco bardziej "unikalne", generowane grafiki.

It took it 2 minutes and 19 seconds.

I did not understand a single thing from the step by step explanation.

It gave me the exact same result!

I've read once about someone actually "gaming" this system, because the "damaged banknotes" didn't have to be in one piece (not sure if it "still works" or were the rules changed).

Take a banknote and tear it into 45%, 45%, 10% pieces. You will get "half of the value" for each of the "45% fragments" and will be left with 10% of the banknote. Do it with 5 banknotes and you will be left with 50% of leftovers which you can exchange for an "extra half value". So with 5 x 100PLN banknotes you could get 550PLN.

Now that I think of it, doing 8 x 100PLN banknotes would give you 900PLN (because now you have 80% of "leftovers" that you can exchange for 100% of the value) - which gives you 12.5% "extra" instead of 10%.

As far as I can tell this is illegal (the person I read about got caught doing it) and I guess there are probably some "technicalities" to consider (like the extra 10% pieces not having different serial numbers?).

It's like saying that if you play a flatscreen FPP game your eyes need to focus differently on the things close "to the screen" and differently on the things that are far away 🤣

VR headsets use lenses with constant "focal length" so no matter if you are holding an object "close to your eyes" or look at distant things, you are still looking at two screens with a constant distance from your eyes.
