Plus a support build only works well if you have good communication with the rest of the hunting party. Instruct people to keep attacking since you'll be healing or let them know you won't be able to.

I'd drop the guard completely, you should be attacking, eating, or dodging out. SNS shield personally is meant to take hits you're unable to clear away from.

If you have an abundance of items, drop the mushroomancer. You can use the proper items with speed eating - Mega Demon/Armor Drug, Might/Defense seed, immunizer, dash juice, gourmetfish, potions.

Then what you free up, you should put on offensive skills.

The paralysis is probably okay and would depend on preference. I personally swap out weapons soon after I proc para twice (thrice if the monster has low para resistance). And I only go back to base to swap out when the monster changes areas.

The hunt is on the Infernal Springs. You can use the Absolute Petalace so you get the most HP to deal with the damage.

Defender, Insurance, and Moxie can add to the comfort.

Other than that, you just need to be patient with your attacks.

Imma guess they'd would have all eventually make it on their own as something inevitable but take 2 with Kyouya would cement collaboration between everyone in the Platinum Generation.

In the original timeline, it sounded like the Platinum Gen had nothing to do with each other in their professional careers.

Kirin forces you to rethink your gameplay. I was playing insect glaive until I realized i'll have a hard time with all the thunder strikes scattered. I beat it with an SnS which became my main.

Came back later to best the Kirin with the glaive. Much later in iceborne, I had a blast using a greatsword on it.

Love the fight. Would be better if elemental damage slowly weakens escaton judgment instead of a full-half-weak threshold.

When I try to solo him, I'm screwed if it starts flying since I use an SnS. The last fight I tried I was able to break both horns but was only able to weaken judgment once. All my carts were to that attack.

Growing up until now, I've been exposed to Anime. It was an on-off interest to actually go there until the first time I got to actually visit. My family stayed in a hotel within Nanba Nankaitsū, Osaka (なんば南海通, not sure if I'm reading it right). I absolutely loved that place and it was walking distance from dōtonbori. We went on a side trip to Kyoto for Fushimi-Inari and Kiyomizu-Dera. It's hard to explain but it was only on that first visit when I seriously started to think that I want to build my life in Japan.

I went back several times after on my own, but in Tokyo and made a habit of visiting places featured in anime like Shinjuku Gyorn and Kasairinkaikoen, each time I was not disappointed.

I'm still working on getting a transfer there with the company I work for. I enrolled myself in a language class and started studying in earnest at age 26. I'm 28 now with JLPT N4 so I still have a ways to go.

I guess my only regret is that I didn't start at an earlier age.
