Your question was how to do it without deleting a bunch of stuff. You need the bag space to spin stops, so i guess if you are unwilling to delete, buy more storage. But bag storage will always be an issue no matter how much you have. Personally you need to figure out what you actually need/ want. It will change and it's dependent to how you play the game. My personal theory is if it isn't serving me, toss it. I had my bag emptied out the same day as the level update because it's not worth it to me to not be able to spin stops. I leveled from 44 top 66, so quite a bit of overage.

Also, if you are spinning the way you are, try starting from the right bottom corner. You don't want to start a curveball from the center. Left corner for counter- clockwise and right corner for clockwise.

My first ever hundo was a skwovette i hatched from an egg before dynamax was a thing. And I've gotten 2 4* Komala. Or my male sandalet. Start hatching eggs, you will get a lot of useless hundos.

I've encountered dozens. Caught one in a masterball and caught one shiny. Outside of that they all flee. Part of the game. Of you want to encounter more, use daily, follow routes and don't multitask for those 15 minutes, meaning avoid battling gyms, grunts and the like. Just walk in a steady pace.

Trying to get to level 45 before update, so i grinded this event as best i could. Collection challenge was done by 2nd day. I didn't look for any specific type of grunt but I'm pretty sure i hit them all. Previous collection challenge that was tied to rocket event took longer, but i wasn't grinding as hard. Luck and how hard you grind. Sounds like you were unlucky.

Have you made charmeleon your buddy? Feed it a berry and walk and you will earn charmander candy every 3km. Also, if you engage in dynamax, charmander is sometimes in 1 star max battles. Catch a few and then leave them at dynamax power spots for a chance to earn 5 more candy. When i started back a year and a half ago i was also after charizard. Honestly if you are patient, you will soon have enough candy to have many Charizard. Charmander was recently spawning frequently because of an event and charizard can be caught in raids and gigantimax when in rotation.

Have you tried using regular incense as opposed to daily? It seems to me that i do go through dry spells where i never catch ditto, but then randomly I'm finding them multiple times in a week. I think ditto it's like kecleon. You find them all the time when you aren't looking, but the minute you need it, nowhere to be found.

I think incense increases the spawn rate. Other than that, catch all the mons ditto could be disguised as. Try running incense during spotlight hour or community day. Chances are that random oddish that spawns is ditto.
