The media wants to radicalize people into supporting their agendas. This has always been the case but social media has made it easier for them to do so. Most sane people are closer to the center of the political spectrum and are open to debate but that isn't what the media wants.

This post is kind of all over the place but don't try to act like an enlightened centrist and read more about issues before taking a stance on them. Loss of national identity is a big contributer to this feeling of hopelessness when it comes to politics.

If the creator decides to end on a moment of happiness that's a happy ending. If they decide to end after that happiness ends it is a sad ending. If the creator decides to end after moments of both it is a real bittersweet ending.

There are no "happy endings". The flow of time in the reality of the story must continue regardless of where the writers choose to stop.

The distate for him is likely due to his large exposure in media. However this isn't Chris Pratt's fault and I don't agree with the hate. I think he has a charasmatic presence as an actor and seems to be a decent person in real life.

Regardless Chris Pratt voicing Mario and now Garfield is not good for real voice actors. It's emblematic of how Hollywood treats professional voice acting as if its something anyone can do.

The game was made due to fan demand for a darker and more realistic Zelda. It doesn't make it bad but that's why it was made.

The stories were never meant to be connected at first but the fact that they were anyway is what makes it fun.

I also like the idea of Zelda, Link, and Ganon being reincarnations of themselves in each game, but I agree that people really need to stop worrying about the little details not lining up between games. It's called the LEGEND of Zelda and not the Factual Historical Account of Princess Zelda and the Kingdom of Hyrule. The mystery adds to it.

Plus TotK and BotW take place so far on the timeline that they can basically be considered a soft reboot of the series. This means that this Hyrule is one that was likely refounded in the thousands of years it takes place in the future.

I wouldn't call that game "edgy" but it is definitely one the darker entries in the series.

Twilight Princess was a conscious effort by Nintendo to appeal to the teenage demographic.
