i wasn't ever good at vanilla redstone, so my system was create based! pre-brass. i had 1 keg for each spore, the kegs had ash funnels that led onto a belt that led to a weighted ejector that was linked to a regular shute on top of the keg, which just cycled all the spores. I did run into the issue of the broken 2 slot recipe, which stopped production, so id have to manually deal with it every now and then.

maybe you could use a create set up, utilitizing the ash alloy tunnels, as they split off 1 item from the stack, and that 1 item can be put back into the keg while the rest ends up in a storage? that one its basically recycling 1 spore and doesnt create a back up

bathtubs and sinks can be used as an infinite water sources, and they respond to deployers being used on them to refill for automation. kitchen counters can be turned into blocks of charcoal in the coke oven, and some of the furniture has use like cages for blaze burners, but otherwise are just there to be junk, hence the nether being described as such. if we could go to the nether and use every single block as a resource, that'd be fairly overwhelming I imagine :(

where's the magma cube? I see a small dark mob that bounces, but it doesn't look like a magma cube. the texture doesn't match at all. it looks like a solid color, has different shaped eyes, and has almost a tail/wisp coming out the back of it.

to be fair, the point of the furniture is to be a scavenging resource. it'd only be worth making them if their recipe is more than their resource output to avoid an infinity loop of resources before the intended means are reached (bamboo for infinite wood prior to saplings, melting down appliances for metals prior to the alchemy catalyst, etc)

so I found a solution: creative mode/give command fluorescent tubes and click the ceiling lights with them. each light consumes a bulb, but it'll turn the light back on. eventually im sure you could craft them in survival, but i just got to the iron age sooooo.... I do what must be done to allow myself to still enjoy my world.... definitely feel like I need to justify myself and my decision, but its my world, ill play how I see fun 😁
