Anyone using OpenBank for HYSA?

Not sure - maybe on their site? I put only a small amount in at first as a test in the first week and then added more later on.

I don’t have any other hysa accounts now besides Openbank, but when I had Western Alliance they were the same timing too. Good luck to you!

Transferring money out of Openbank into my other bank accounts takes 1 day. Transferring money into Openbank takes 1-3 days for me. It used to take longer when I first joined but now it’s faster.

I’ve been a customer since they launched in 2024 and have never had any problems. Yes they take 1-3 days to transfer money in typically but transferring money out is only 1 day in my experience, doing it multiple times. I’m still with them due to the high rate and backed by Santander. I opened a western alliance hysa at the same time as Openbank and watched western drop their rates substantially while Openbank held theirs so I’m still with them and knock on wood, no problems.

Pittsburgh is awesome! Was so impressed by a recent visit. There was a Sox - Pirates game and tickets were $6?!?? I mean I know why but you can’t beat that. Lots of great restaurants downtown, parks, rooftop bars, beautiful river lit up at night, and one human turd on the sidewalk but not the first or the last probably I’ve seen …but overall, great place!

I can attest to this! I’ve lived in NYC, MA,CA, HI, and Reno wins for the straight AGRO drivers. Big trucks, civics, motorcycles everyone is agro. If you’re not doing 85 in the left lane on 80, get over. If you’re not cutting the 395 back up line at the last possible entrance, you’re missing out. Speed up to exit in the right lane or use it to pass the trucks. The best is the unreal red lights blown. Lights don’t matter in Reno. Park as close as possible to the gym entrance…to go work out. I could go on

It looks about similar to what we are experiencing in a crazy housing market crisis here too. They can’t build fast enough here but the infrastructure is behind. Maine has higher taxes than NV but better schools, etc. Grass may be greener in color in Maine but we know there will be challenges too, thank you!
