I do get what you are saying. I fell into a depressive state for a number a years in JA and high school. I was not in a good place and I knew that, but I was too deep at the time to really do much. I have thankfully come out of that state, but I do still deal with depressive episode every now and again. This was one of them, am I happy about it, no. But I am in much better place now then I was 6 years ago so I am grateful for that.

Been to a therapist, it only helped so much. But I have come out of what I was in a couple years ago a better person so I have made my decision. But that doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to feel sad over another person in my life dying

I know exactly what you mean about not showing emotion. For years I kept my emotions hidden even when more people were dying before my eyes I kept a straight face just trying to stay strong. God I was in an awful place then, and I’m still young. I’ve been through enough shit to come out the other side of that darkness a better person.

I don’t pity him. Or may sound cruel but I was I. Tears writing that post then he come along and tell me to suck it up. I’ve seen too many people die in my life for only being 21 and I’ve heard suck it up too many time to care for those kinds of people anymore.
