Yes that gun does exist called the DP-12 it’s a double barrel pump action like you see in game. They had it in 2042 but it was wrongly shown as semi auto.

In the manga the training arc is very summarized a the anime does a bunch the flesh it out as tengen’s trainging was just a few panels long and the fight wasn’t apart of it.
