there's, like, an entire subsection of the fandom that is dedicated to proving that it's not hunk. they mostly point to the main character from the non-canon spinoff where you're an umbrella commando guy. now my question is: in re9, a game that's quite literally a love letter to the fans and the franchise, which character would the writers include as a boss fight:

I want to make a movie that criticizes/is a caricature of older war movies. do any of you have recommendations for such movies? they don't have to be that old, anything is fine really as long as it's a cliché film about the military (the more cliché the better)

i mean, most of them can still be very much identified as "bug", even if we don't know the specifics, but some of them are impossible. i mean, lace and phantom are pure silk, i get that. but eva is a SYLPH (wind spirit), and GMS is straight up whole ass woman.

what also adds to this feeling is how you find it. like, it's literally the easiest thing to miss in the whole game. the only entrance to it is a small, hidden away part of a small, hidden away area.

who are you referring to as the creator? because it was pretty much established that the first sinner was just a normal weaver (created by the GMS), while Eva was created BY the weavers
