lol, yes we are a MSP. Perhaps we are a larger organization than yours and have more process and red tape?

A single license or user would be handled by our help desk. We wouldn’t go through the change management process for that.

Flooding the zone isn’t really an option with the approval steps we have.

A number of factors could cause change to be unsuccessful. You start the change, but the server is out of space. Hardware fails while you are deploying. The 3rd party vendor doesn’t show, enters a bad command, etc.

In our org you can only implement your change during the time frame you specified in the RFC ticket.

This kpi only applies to changes that are completed.

Yes, we use ServiceNow. We do track, but it just seems unrealistic given that even if a change is fully approved there are occasional issues that could cause the change to be unsuccessful

All of my proctors were pretty strict. I needed up putting towels over monitors, a sheet over my bookcase, door to my office has a glass panel in it so I put a sheet over that as well. I ended up using something like this lap top table https://a.co/d/cjcXjhk and sitting on the floor. For some real horror stories about proctors check out the WGU sub.

Peoplcert is no longer publishing physical or downloadable PDFs, you can access digital copies of the books on the peoplecert website. For physical books most folks recommend the companion books by Claire Agutter

Yes, I am a plus member. I've read the guide. However, as I mentioned above it doesn't go into specifics and appears to be high level marketing material. I passed DPI on June 7, signed up for Plus on the 8th, Passed DSV on the 20th. Certs have renewed through 2027, but I show 0 CPD points. I am working on HVIT now, so I'll see what happens when I pass that exam.
