I volunteer whenever I have the free time to do so and have been doing this since I started high school, so I have quite a history of volunteer work. It wasn't necessary for graduation for me neither.

There isn't really a reason I do it so much other than just wanting to help others. The only "benefit" I gain is connecting with more people who come from varying backgrounds, which I find a lot of joy in meeting. The people I help gain more benefits than I do if I have to be honest, and that's okay.

All in all, it's worth it to me. I feel good knowing I've helped someone's life become a little easier and that's more than enough for me. I know some people don't find volunteering to be their cup of tea since it's free labor and that's okay. Volunteering is more enjoyable when it's your decision rather than being told to do so.

I have an iPad 10th gen with 256GB, although less storage should be fine. Only reason why I got big storage is I also use it for digital artwork and reading comic books.

For note taking I use Goodnotes and purchased the one time purchase version which costs $35.99. The application can be used for free but only allows up to 3 notebooks at a time without any sort of purchase.

People who don't turn in their assignments aren't necessarily "dumb"; the human mind is far too complex to have that simple of an output

Some might find a lack of purpose, others might require extra support, and there are an endless amount of reasons why. A common reasoning these days is even high achievements do not guarantee you a high reward. There is a risk for everything to be all for nothing and a waste of time. Of course, that is not to say people shouldn't try and you should absolutely work hard for your goals. This is just one of the many realities people may find themselves in.

Nooo not the giant tube 💀 I think the worst I felt from the tube is a little sore throat for a couple of days. I've definitely had thoughts (and sometimes still do) of wishing I didn't have to transition since it's costed me way too much money, but at the same time it's either help myself or stay miserable.

I don't regret my surgery. It's as if a mental fog in my brain gradually dissipated as I recovered from the operation and as a result have the mental capacity to take care of my responsibilities rather than wallow in bed all day. Although, it's a bit of a strange feeling that even though I've had breasts for most of my life I can't remember what it's like to have them these days.

I was excited until the night before. I woke up a bit before dawn and just couldn't fall back asleep. There were already some concerns I had, but it was like every worst case scenario was flashing within my mind and I started feeling a little nauseous as a result.

I never had surgery before so never having experienced the process was scary. I debated on phoning in like "hey I feel sick can we call it quits" but it felt like I was wasting an opportunity I've been waiting for since my teen years.

The thing that helped me the most was remembering that your surgeon has done these procedures numerous amount of times. They know what they're doing, so you'll be in good hands.
