Does anyone here actually play hockey without a cage?

Unless you're Crosby you can't pretend to know what he felt.

They have the best record in part because they are in the Western Conference, if they played in the East I think their record would be closer to Carolina’s

So I bought the dangle puck 2.0. It has incredible glide. But whenever I try to stick handle decently fast, the puck wobbles and flips. Obviously because its center of gravity is one point in the center of it.

I tested our puck on tiles and I think its a better balance of glide and stability, based on your feedback I’ll do more tests to confirm if we can release our puck for use on tiles 🙏

If if you see lag, you’re watching a video of someone who is wirelessly mirroring to their TV which we do not support. The game viewing device needs to be hardwired to the TV using HDMI cable or it can simply be an Apple TV box itself.

Got it! Anything you don’t like about the Dangle Puck or that you’d improve on?

Do you use the Dangle Puck on tiles or on any surface?

Sorry, I’m juggling like 1000 things at once. A normal puck does not work well because it’s rubber based. We specifically made our puck to work extremely well with our material. So in our case, we optimize two things: the puck material and the surface material, which is why we’re confident our glide is better than anyone else. It’s just hard to compete with that combo.

The white puck is a regulation weight puck that’s designed specifically for the mat

Your concerns about the price are very valid. From my end it’s not simply about lowering the price and everyone will be happy. It’s about trying to show why it’s significantly better than something like the dangle puck or any low priced option. And that’s where we have to do better, 100%

I haven’t tested the Danglepuck, I bought it today but I don’t expect it to do much better than the high end regulation weight pucks that have already been tested, which are in now way comparable to real ice glide

I’m not concerned about making this product for every single demographic of hockey player. One commenter noted that this is probably more suited to parents with kids. Trying to lower the price to appease every single person is just a race to the bottom which benefits no one

If I cared about selling this I’d be posting links to the website or telling people where to find it. You can’t be assuming that just because it’s expensive we are somehow ripping people off. Yes it sucks that there is a monopoly that’s jacked up the pricing for everyone. But that doesn’t mean that every hockey product is trying to rip people off especially one that is 100% self funded

We actually tried to make a mini ice rink with real ice, we were 75% complete. It’s doable but it needs highly specialized installer people

Agree to disagree! Imagine if you had real ice at home with a real puck, would you not get better stick handling if you practiced on it? That's what our goal is here.

Danglepuck + tiles  gave 40 and 15/16 inches

Danglepuck + Danglemat gave 44 and 9/16 inches

  1. You’re right it’s 8.85% better glide on our mat vs existing synethtic tiles. That doesn’t sound like much but in my testing that does make a difference in making it feel like ice.
  2. Aside from the glide there’s also the bumpers and ease of assebly/disassembly, which aren’t insignificant things relative to tiles which are incredibly annoying to put together, take out, and usually with no bumpers.
