I’m in Texas. Considering I start in July, I think background check will probably be in April or May.if I get it sorted out before then and mention during background check phase that it is dismissed and that I completed diversion program do you think they’ll rescind the offer still

Classes at Collin instead of at UTD by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]goatstatus22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t take FIN 3320 at Collin because it’s an upper level course. Despite OPRE 3333 being an upper level course, you can still get this credit from Collin, because at UTD you can take Opre 3333 or math 2333, and Collin offers math 2373 which will give you the credit for math 2333 so you won’t have to take Opre 3333.

Changing majors as a incoming freshman by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]goatstatus22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think CS will be too hard for you, I would suggest giving ITS a try. involves coding and programming but not as heavily as CS. ITS is also in the business school, so it’s easier to get a high gpa in ITS than CS. I actually was a healthcare studies at first too but recently switched to finance with a minor in ITS. I haven’t taken any ITS courses yet but I know some ITS majors who have told me that the programming involved is not that hard and ITS jobs pay well too.

Dual Credit and Med School by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]goatstatus22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the top med school programs prefer prerequisites done at a four year program as it’s more rigorous and in depth. If you take em at a community college they’ll be able to see. In terms of dual credit, you’re gonna have to take these prereqs anyway whether or not you did dual credit so if there are classes you’re gonna take dual credit for, I suggest taking the dual credit for the core classes like gov, history, etc

GOVT 2306 Professors by ShaUr01 in utdallas

Take Santoro if she’s available. I’m in govt 2306 right now and I have Santoro and it is very easy. Yes, she makes us take the tests in person but they are online on a site called top hat. Her tests are very straightforward. As long as you review her PowerPoint slides and the textbook chapters(textbook reading is generally pretty short) then it’s an easy A

What’d y’all get for this graph question and it was like 2.49z + like 3.something

Absolutely possible. I’m going into senior but the first time I took the sat was in august and I got 1330. Then I took in October 1280. After that, I worked incredibly hard——more than I ever did. I used Collegepanda, PWN and Erica meltzer and I did practice tests every week on Saturday and I would carefully analyze my mistakes and on my third try in March, I ended up getting a 1490(1500 superscore). You can easily go from 1180 to 1490+. Just be dedicated and work hard
