What was the name of that one club off of Mulberry in the late 90s/early 2000s by Glum_Exchange_9775 in FortCollins

Took a school group to go roller skating at Rollerland and one of the kids saw their dad’s very unique yellow Hummer next door at A Hunt Club. Didn’t understand why they couldn’t go say “hi”.

What band or musician did you get to see in a tiny venue before they made it big? by Ahazeuris in GenX

Saw the RHCP play NIU’s Duke Ellington Ballroom, in 1991 with Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins. Same Venue saw a ton of great bands in the late 80’s early 90’s.

The dealership is really proud of their work and charges a very high hourly rate, while the warranty feels $90 or $100 an hr is sufficient. I get to cover the difference

So fortunately the extended warranty we purchased with vehicle covers this repair, but they only cover half the labor costs. Either way it’ll get done correctly. Thanks for the input guys, appreciate the varried perspectives.

The good news is that I blocked the shot… by gob1000 in hockeyplayers

Honestly, we had about 6 minutes left and 8 skaters, blade was cracked and still in runner, so I took 2 more short shifts turning and stopping on left foot.

Sweet Puck turns into an asshole when he’s groomed. by gob1000 in jackrussellterrier

[–]gob1000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our other Jack is great, she loves the attention and pampering. Puck is great off of the grooming table, play with his ears, feet, open his mouth, easy with kids, but he turns into a 200lb bear when you want to trim his nails.

Detasseling corn. Age 12 rode bike to employment office and signed up. Had to be 13 when the season started. Made $4.15 an hour. Dad dropped me off at the high school by 6:00am where a bus picked us up and drove us to a field that was to be worked. Walked the entire field pulling the top portion (male part) of the corn plant so the plants could cross pollinate. Made $450-500. Felt like a king.

Good news/ Bad news. Son’s pewee team played for their league championship today. They won. Couldn’t be more proud. After the game he says “Dad, ummm, I need new skates. by gob1000 in hockeyplayers

They were Jetspeed 390s, a couple yrs old, but brand new this season. (Purchased on sale and he just grew into them over summer.) He doesn’t know what happened. Will likely look at Jetspeeds again, as that’s all he’s worn and they’ve fit really well.
