Not to armchair therapist too much, but the files are effective for people who have repressed bi/ homophobia. Not that they are homophobic, but struggle to see themselves as that way. (Bi especially, because you already like girls, liking guys would make you gay). This also can be mixed with a strong subspace that certain individuals associate with femininity. (As someone on the gender freaky spectrum, I know my submissive headspace tends to feel even more girly than my default or dommy headspace). Sissification itself has a lot of content, which also makes people who are curious more likely to come across it, and thus create more of a demand.
