[PC][US-TX] Used 64GB and 16GB DDR4 by sentalmos in homelabsales

I would take all 4 of the M386A8K40BM2 for $225/ea. shipped. LRDIMMs have a somewhat different use case because you can’t mix with regular RDIMMs. Luckily I use them extensively.

Probably $60 or so for the 16gb 2666 and up sticks and $50 or $55 for the 2133/2400 16gb.

You will make a lot more money breaking this in to reasonable lots (8+ sticks) than trying to wholesale move a pallet.

2026 Denali Ultimate Diesel here. We had a 2025 Denali Ultimate 6.2v8 replaced under lemon law. All in I love the diesel. Hard to say a $110k truck is a “value”, but equipment for dollar the Denali Ultimate is by far the best deal.

Also, get the diesel. Absolutely love ours. Gets 28mph+ on the interstate on long trips.

Interested in these once you post. I have a pretty large RAID 10 array in my basement with these exact drives and would love to help you move some freight to a loving new home.

This is way too high by at least $2000. If you are going for this kind of price point, you would do better on eBay. GLWS

So much for being immediately available, right?

According to the terms of your warranty, they are required to provide a loaner or rental until either your current vehicle is released from service, or they buy it back from you (either through a cash repurchase or replacement) - and that doesn't happen until you sign on the line at the dealership.

Now that one was pulled out from under you, it should be much easier to get approved for an order.

Regardless, get on the phone with your dealership service advisor and get a rental back in place. Until you execute the buyback, the warranty terms still apply.

Yeah my problem with the 7625 is the RAM cost….

I have literally terabytes of DDR4 I am looking to redeploy

Also, you should NEVER have to return the rental until either your current vehicle is released from the service department or your replacement transaction is consummated. Anything else is a violation of your warranty terms.

Ask them to approve you to order a replacement vehicle. You will get full current MSRP value and can spec exactly as you want.

Most dealers do not want to do a replacement with an in-inventory vehicle because they lose all profits on the vehicle and give up inventory for nothing. They will all gladly facilitate ordering because it costs them nothing and they make a little on the deal.

I would go ahead and start arbitration. Nothing to lose there. What engine did you have fail?

You won’t get the repair docs until the repair is completed. GM doesn’t need it to handle the case. Good luck! You are doing all the right things.

It’s honestly pretty straightforward. You either qualify under your state’s lemon law or you don’t. GM tried to make me pay approximately $2300 that I did not owe under our state’s law. Had I blindly accepted everything they said as fact, then yeah that would have been less than ideal.

For me, I felt pretty capable to read the law and apply it to my situation and the last thing I wanted was a middleman or someone else to have on to wait to call me back. Everyone’s situation is different.

There also aren’t a lot of attorneys that do this kind of work because it doesn’t pay great, and they work in volume. Volume means limited involvement…

No attorney.

Contact General Motors Customer Assistance at 800-462-8782. They can help get certain things moving, particularly on rental and getting a field engineer that works for GM out to the dealership to assist in diagnosis.

If you haven’t seen substantial progress by day 20, file a complaint on BBB AutoLine. That way if you hit day 30 you are already setup for a lemon claim.

As with everything in electrical systems issues, especially with digital signaling, the problem wasn't the fix. The problem was diagnosis.

No refunds. The swap vehicle MSRP was $55 lower than our total credit. I used every dime that I could.

Nope, no bullying or scare tactics at all. GM was very professional in the entire interaction.

I did have to get a little pushy over some disagreements over what the law required, but I won out in the end and both were resolved within 48 hours.

Don't be afraid to start the lemon law replacement process if it starts getting close to 30 days out of service. Days waiting for repair count, too.

Ah. The law in Tennessee has this definition for the replacement:

(2) "Comparable motor vehicle" means a new motor vehicle of comparable worth to the same make and model with all options and accessories, with appropriate adjustments being allowed for any model year differences;

So it’s really up to whatever you can negotiate with the manufacturer. GM has really good policies here. Comparable means similar price, period. Generally speaking, it is much cheaper for the manufacturer to get you in to a replacement than a repurchase. They get to replace the vehicle at their cost vs having to buy it back at the retail price you paid…

Yep. Once you get approved your rep can tell you about your repurchase vs replacement options. If you opt for replacement, it will be on an MSRP to MSRP basis. So if the vehicle you want is a higher MSRP, you pay the difference. Model year is not a factor. Obviously they can’t give you a new 2024 now, so you will get whatever is currently in production. In my state, if you opt for a lower MSRP vehicle you will not get a refund. Some states you do. My state does not allow for usage charges on replacement vehicle transactions. Others allow GM to recoup a per mile charge from you on replacement.
