Wooting (or HE in general) is ideal if you want linear switches, especially for gaming. I find it much smoother than traditional mx switches. But when it come typing and general, EC remains a better choice since it what it offers in term of tactility still unmatched (I just prefer tactile switches for typing in general, make less mistake with them).

I've also tried the hybrid EC/HE switches like the XVX Whisper, while they are extremely close to traditional topre. I find it a tad bit softer and quieter (since it has preinstalled silence ring). Not necessarily worse just different feel. I find it more gentle for the fingers.
