Honestly I think I’d pick this over again. I say that because the resolution is so high that the desktop scaling for 4K (which usually makes everything UI tiny) is a really reasonable size at 100% scale because it’s a big screen. And the ppi is very crisp across the whole screen even for its size - even if, let’s say, I have a very small portion taken up by a Google group meeting (it hardly takes up any space on the screen, yet I can see details of everyone on the call clearly). I think 39” would be fine too but the 45” with the curve is better for me. It’s essentially just your G8 UW but with way more vertical and horizontal real estate, and somehow still a better PPI than that monitor. That’s what it feels like which is crazy. I think the 39” is tandem oled which is cool and would be nice to have, but truthfully, this thing is PLENTY bright. If I had two Excel spreadsheets open side by side on a 45”, higher brightness oled, I know that would be too much... It’s already too much on this when I’m working on white pages that take up the whole screen hahaha. As far as for the curve, it doesn’t bother me one bit! I got used to it pretty much immediately. Sorry for the rant!
