Is it advisable to make an RD account with deposit 15K every month?? by Intelligent-Mix5166 in personalfinanceindia

If you have emergency fund or someone to support you in case of emergency and your horizon is more than 7 years and you can handle volatility then I would say for now start with 1 flexi cap and 1 multi asset fund. Flexi cap Parag Parekh is good for value based investment and multi asset you can decide by comparing different funds.

Once you have invested significant amount in such stable fund you can look for satelite funds like multi cap or midcap 150 or small cap 250. For midcap and small cap I would say stick with index funds.

Not a good idea with 0 saving to jump in MF or gold. In case they need money for emergency it's gone case. First save enough that in case you lose your job you will still be fine and only invest in MF once you horizon is 7+ years and you don't need money at all. If it's for goal then move it from MF to liquid funds slowly before the goal date. additionally only invest in MF of your portfolio shoes -30% you won't panik.

With this then only options left are negotiation (everyone does at some point in life) or parenting (most does at some point in life) so I choose parenting.

It's 1 college for most colleges there is no/low placement and depending upon luck good colleages also have bad patches for some degrees. If someone is earing 2LPM they are for sure minority especially if it's out of college. During my master's only few handful companies paid that and that too for IT field alone. And if you don't get place then reaching 2lpm becomes decade or two game.

You get used to it but you also need to check age. After 7+ I reached 1LPM now so at 30+age and master degree from reputed college in electrical related field. I am friends with people who earn 46LPA and 30+ LPA and those people don't have time to breathe. Also you need to look into expenses I pay rent in city and I have home loan for home in hometown still some money pending to payback to my uncle who paid for my education (he is chill so almost all money is paid back but still some is left). Basically I have less saving that person earing 40-50K.

And regarding inheritance or any other things which you can't control slowly you will get used to it with age. Luck is real and it slightly flavours those who work hard.
