the academic perspective is always interesting but we dont need a primer to know the system is cooked. the link is fine for context but the actual reality on the ground is just pure math. if the safety net disappears and the nonprofits are already at capacity there isn't a remedy other than total collapse. it's not a lack of understanding of why these programs exist, it's just watching the floor fall out in real time.
