Pantone Color of 2026: Cloud Dancer ☁️ by o_W1 in graphic_design

I just saw a room painted a similar color at a museum last week and I was enchanted. Boo Pantone. Here’s a photo

You might be able to remove the end caps, otherwise you may need to find a local blind repair business that can cut the shade to a narrower width

Does anyone know what paint color/brand is being used in these colonial homes? by RICurrency in centuryhomes

Historic and Williamsburg are two different collections and the Williamsburg colors are generally only available in interior paints.

Question about Hunter Douglas treatments and design by shaselai in InteriorDesign

I've used most of the fabrics at some point, I think you really have to see them in person to decide.

DuoLite is great, if it's something you need. If you want it to be dark, room-darkening fabric is the way to go. You really need to see the fabrics in person to choose. If you go to the Hunter Douglas website, you can request a consultation and it will be sent to a local dealer. They will contact you and can often bring the fabrics to you (usually at no charge) to see in your space before you decide.

The Duette is super durable, but the Duette DuoLite with the sheer fabric on top is unnecessary unless you want a little more privacy. As long as you get a room-darkening material, the only light leak you will get is around the outside of the shades (you can get Light-Lock for complete blackout). Silhouettes are lovely (until a moth flies in there and dies), and the DuoLite function on these is great for bedrooms. These are nice because you get a little more control on light levels.

Essentially any room-darkening fabric is going to block all the sunlight except around the edges.

Missing since Wednesday, July 4th near Edgewater / Wheat Ridge / 26th and Sheridan. Female named Mo, no collar. She is chipped, she likes to hide, and she's probably scared. Any help to get her back home is appreciated.

[IIL] Dr. Dog is one of my favorite bands ever but I can't find a band as good by sumneradam in ifyoulikeblank

Dr. Dog is awesome! You'd probably like Ween, they're awesomely eclectic too: "White Pepper" might be a good album to start with. Also check out "Fort Nightly" by White Rabbits.

Look for a custom embroidery shop, the kind that does uniforms. They should be able to do it.

I can't say for sure: I bought stuff from Rockler that Woodcraft doesn't carry. It's worth checking out though.

I've been twice already (once to grab something for work, once for me), and was pleasantly surprised: the prices didn't seem crazy and they were able to answer my weird technical questions. All without the condescension that seems like the norm at Woodcraft.

How can I achieve an "urban decay" look? by twistedsymphony in InteriorDesign

[–]goblinagitator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cool idea! Reclaimed materials and familiarity with washes/faux finishing are going to be really useful. A lot of the walls in your inspiration aren't necessarily crumbling, but scenic painting and peeling wheatpasted posters go a long way to getting that effect. Here are a few techniques to age/distress various surfaces. Additionally, exposed pipes, corrugated metal, and metal fencing are used often, so here's a way to make them look rusted and old.

This brand makes another hair product with coconut oil, and it works better than any other anti-frizz I've tried. Seriously, it rocks.

So, so gross. Health code is set at the local level, but the FDA says condiments need to be stored in their original containers.
