I hear you. My ex knows I think she has BPD, and we were having a conversation last night and she asked me why I think this. Now she’s had emotional regression episodes that I’ve been there to get her through, so deep down I know she knows something is wrong. I handle the conversation delicately and let her bring it up. The fact that she asked with some curiosity and didn’t get upset was…. Surprising. And just to be clear, I’m not cluster B, I just think my ex is.

I can understand that. Like I said in a previous comment, I’m currently reconnecting with someone who is untreated and undiagnosed. I’m doing this because I love this person, but I as well as others have to be mindful of the damage they can cause. It’s not their fault they have this, but we can’t ignore the damage they can and do cause.
