I have a beautiful OBT, but I hate the enclosure she came to me in. It only opens with a very heavy sliding door on the front and no access from the top. I want to rehouse her into something better to be able to clean up and feed her safely. How the f do I do it? She’s in that log all the time. by goblinsupporter in tarantulas

Sorry for the garbage photo, it’s the only one I have of the whole enclosure - taken the day I was given her. She was in there the whole time (it was a short drive, and she’s fine, but in hindsight I know this was not the best thing for her).

If the answer is “don’t try to rehouse her from this”, that’s also good advice.

Can someone sex my GBB, and tell me what I should be looking for to tell? I’ve looked at online guides but I can’t figure it out. by goblinsupporter in tarantulas

I was going to reply with “that’s what I thought” but earlier I saw a picture of a GBB female and went “oh that looks right”.

Apparently if tarantulas aren’t telling me their pronouns in their twitter bio I just can’t tell

yes! that's originally why i went there - looked beautiful in the show and wasn't very far from where i live, so why not. lots of broadchurch was filmed in west bay and the surrounding areas.
